We arrived quite late and the hosts were so accommodating and made our late check in a breeze. The room was huge and spotlessly clean, the grounds were immaculate and the pool/spa was brilliant. We've been lucky to enough to secure accommodation here on the 4th of March for the Foo Fighters gig and can't wait to come back, highly recommend this place to stay, it exceeds expectations in every single way!!

The Barwon Valley Lodge isa real gem. My wife and I plus family (4 sons and daughters in law + children) 15 in total spenta weekend at Barwon Valley Lodge. The accommodation comprised 2 bedroom units each having well fitted out kitchen plus a lounge room and laundry with washing machine and dryer. Wifi, TV, BBQ A/C and heating. Large grounds with in ground swimming pool, a small lake anda tennis court. Ball and racquets supplied. Across the road - the Barwon River anda large park. Shops nearby. It was a great weekend. Staff friendly and helpful. An easy drive to centre of Geelong and the waterfront. I Cannot recommend this place enough. It was great.
The lodge rooms are 2 bedroom with a spacious combined lounge / kitchen / study area, shared bathrooms.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and kitchen facilities to enable you to cook and be at 'home'
The pool has some shaded area around it, the temperature was comfortable. There is also a bbq area to utilise.
The owner, Bill, was engaging, accommodating and flexible with bookings (having regard to COVID lockdowns)
Location is a pleasant walk to the river, a short drive to nearby shops.
Clean and fully self-contained with washing machine, dryer and even own washing line right outside the laundry. Modern bathroom and shower. Lots of storage space, extra shelves in the living room and bedroom, and a desk in a corner of the living area, were bonuses. Rather well-stocked kitchen. Supermarket and shops close by, and nice location by the river. My family used the pool and tennis courts with racquets to borrow. Our unit was right in front of the heated pool and spa, and pool towels were conveniently provided in the unit’s bathroom. In spring we did not need to use the heater/ air conditioner but a bonus is that both bedrooms were equipped with air conditioners. Plenty of beds in the kids’ bedroom. We booked the two-bedroom apartment for 4 adults, the kitchen was a little on the small end in terms of space for two adults to cook at the same time. The family apartments looked like they had more spacious kitchens and come with own private courtyard.

But we are always willing to listen to suggestions which may help improve our apartments even more. We are so glad you were able to enjoy the apartments and facilities we provide. All the kitchens are well equipped, and while none are small, some are less spacious (as you felt) due to their design. We hope to choose to come and stay with us again in the future.
Had a wonderful time here! Pool and spa was lovely, tennis court was great, wonderful location by the river, close to football grounds and main city centre - particularly for the price!!
Nice units up to date with plenty of beds, and wall split air conditioning in each bedroom with has heater in main living, Foxtel and wifi. Not the mention the laundry facilities (washer and dryer) in the unit 🙌. Had a great time. Thanks so much!!
