The motel is just an ordinary motel, nothing good, nothing bad. I could write a long story but be advised, if you pay at check in, make sure you get a receipt there and then. If you ask for one later ( I asked for one a month later) you might not get a full receipt for the amount you paid.!!!!
Apparently I need to understand that it's a cash business also.
Right oh.

Stayed here for an extended weekend. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was new. Everything was spotlessly clean and even though it was the middle of winter the heating kept us nice and warm. There is a small pool with seating areas and BBQ at the front of the rooms which would be nice in the summer time, especially if you have kids. The hotel is in a great location - you can walk to the Port area, shops and restaurants. We met the owner who was very friendly and helpful.
Its not a flashy hotel but provides good accommodation at a reasonable price. Would definitely stay there again.

Room tip: I think all the rooms would be suitable - its not a huge hotel

We booked a package for 3 nights, the room was super clean and modern looking. The owner/manager could not have been more helpful with advice of sights and restaurants. We had a fantastic visit to Echuca and strongly recommend a stay in the Riverboat Lodge, our next visit will have us return here.
While it's not a 5 star motel/hotel it is quiet, clean and comfortable and in easy access to everything Echuca has to offer.

Room tip: We found the downstairs room handy to our car and quiet

We were flying back from Porepunkah Vic to Loxton SA and had to put down in Echuca due to gusty winds that slowed us down and made flying and landing unsafe. After catching a taxi to the town centre, enjoying brunch at the old Post Office Cafe, a coffee at the historic Star Hotel at the Port of Echuca and some comfortable time in the library out of the wind and heat, we decided to stay the night in Echuca and fly on to Loxton in the morning. Our "ground crew" had stayed at the Riverboat Lodge on the way over to our family wedding in Bright and found the service welcoming and the rooms clean and comfortable. The reception was most welcoming and we found the rooms extremely comfortable and clean. We promptly met with our companions for happy hour in the outside area and then made our way to an Italian restaurant for our evening meal. The motel is a great place for a family or couples to stay and we had a great night in Echuca and then carried on with our journey the following day.

Room tip: No fantastic views but convenient and comfortable.

We chose to stay here as it was close to where we were dining that night. When we arrived the car park was almost empty so we got a park near our room. We have a medium sized car but found it didn't fit too well in the car park size and as the car park filled up I was glad we didn't have to try and get our car out. The pool looked inviting even though it was a freezing day. I can imagine it would be popular in summer. There is a nice little BBQ area and there are tables and chairs out front the rooms. Our room was nice although a little crowded. There is a nice couch to sit and relax but unfortunately it is impossible to see the TV from it. There is also a table & chairs but they are wedged between the bed and window. If you get up during the night remember the table is there! The walls can't be very thick as I heard my neighbours talking until almost midnight and then coughing throughout the night. The bathroom is clean but the window right behind the toilet is a bit off putting. Yes, there is a blind for privacy but it makes the bathroom dark. The shower was a bit hit and miss, sometimes running very hot. Wi-fi is free but didn't work very well. The signal was very poor and we were close to the office. With all the accommodation options in Echuca I think I would chose somewhere else next time we visit the town.
