I booked a twin room using a travel voucher but when we arrived I was told we had a standard room only. I complained about the assurance I was given when booking only to be told nothing they could do about it. The room was ok but the bed was awful. One side had a hollow and it was very u comfortable. The second night of our 3 night stay my husband slept on the floor! We decided to leave a day early. Hard to recommend.
This hotel has very small rooms. The layout of the bathroom is such that the basin is in the main room. It is very clean and quiet but I would not stay here again due to room size. I have twice stayed her in different rooms and I would not do so again. .
Older style motor inn, very clean and comfortable, all amenities were on hand, very friendly owners, (Trish and her husband), continental breakfast each morning was very good and the staff were very knowledgeable regarding the local area attractions.
Booked family room and Queen rooms to accommodate large family but there was no friendly greeting even though I have stayed there for the past 10 years and rooms were not serviced over the weekend. My daughter had to sweep the floor with a tiny dustpan and brush while being heavily pregnant and ask for clean towels as not enough supplied in room. Also toilet papre was given from Queen room as family had ran out. of the children suffered from a bad home delivery and son in law had to decide -use the toilet for the runs and the towels for vomit or what. He cleaned the towels as best he could but on the day after we arrived home I received a very nasty phone call from the manager saying he had just finished cleaning the room and didn't appreciate the messy towels. I also paid extra as the baby put a bit of peewee on one of sofa cushions. adults with little children stay in family rooms and life can get messy but to say DO NOT come back here or book with us again , is extreme !!!
Hi Glenda, Your room (Queen Room) was serviced on the first morning and when we asked about servicing the Family Room, you declined saying that everything was fine. I said that if you needed anything at all just let us know. You were supplied with clean towels (one per person) and clean single sheets on both mornings.
You mentioned the 'bit of peewee' on the sofa cushion which was actually quite a large stain that required a professional clean hence the extra charge of $40. You also mentioned the vomit in the towels, which is something that you neglected to tell us about before you checked out. You also neglected to mention in your review that there was Texta drawings scribbled on our sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads and on the sofa.
My husbands exact words were 'Can you do us a favour? Please don't book with us again. Oh, and we got all of the vomit out of the towels. Thanks, bye' He definitely was not nasty or rude to you.
We have had hundreds of families with small children stay with us and haven't had any issues with peeing on furniture, throwing up in our towels, drawing on our bed linen and furniture or leaving the room in a disgusting state that required an extensive clean. And you give us a bad review.

When your room is literally 10 mts from a VERY BUSY road of trucks through out the night. Room 1. Its a long night. Ask to be at the back. The rooms are tidy. The shower is good BUT i will not stay here again. Other reviews have complained about the same noisy room.
