The McIvor Motor Inn was very clean, beautiful new bathroom in our room! The owner was very welcoming and the staff were all nice! There was everything you needed in the room! Bed was very comfortable and I even found the pillow was great!
We came to Bendigo for the 2018 Taekwondo National Championships and needed some where for the family to stay. We picked this motel as it was not too far from the stadium.
It was easy to find and the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, giving advice and recommendations of places to go and things to do. It was most appreciated.
The family room was in the corner of the courtyard. It had a separate room for the children with two single beds which they were very happy with.
The main room had a counter with fridge, cupboards, microwave, toaster and kettle. A sink and drainer would have been appreciated. plates and cutlery were provided.
There was a comfortable settee, table and chairs and a good sized double bed with bedside tables and lamps.
The bathroom was excellent with good sized shower and tiled floor.
The whole place was very clean and tidy. Good towels and bedding were supplied.
The main room was a bit on the dark side, due to the partition making the kids room where the window was, but this really did not matter.
I've no real downers except I thought it was a bit on the pricey side.
Stayed for one night here as my partner was working in Bendigo. The bed was extremely comfortable which resulted in a great sleep. Storage space is minimal however the room is neat, tidy and clean. The breakfast the next morning was lovely. Cant really complain. Price was also economical.
Late decision to stay here and was able to grab one of the last two rooms available. This was a deluxe unit (no. 14) and it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Only criticism was the need for a second light over the basin as it was a bit dark trying to shave or in my wife's case to dry her hair. Free wifi worked well. Lovely scrambled eggs for breakfast and friendly owners and staff.
Located approx 2kms from city centre...quiet end of town.
Very small parking spaces. Disappointed with the room although clean & tidy it really needs a refresh & more storage space for guests. No room to place bags/suitcases and very small hanging space for clothes. Bathroom consisted of toilet & shower which were both clean however the wash basin was located outside the bathroom in the bench next to the glasses, cups & saucers, cutlery etc.
The McIvor Pub across the road made up for our disappointment...very friendly service & locals and a great meal.
