Booked 2 nights in a queen & single room using the motel's website.
The motel is located in the 'Golden Square' west of the town centre on the main road. There is an excellent pub & Woolworths across the road.
Pleasant & helpful check in & we were allocated room 14.
Its a comfortable room with comfortable beds. Plenty of room to put bags off the floor. 2 upright chairs & table. If you want to self cater, crockery & cutlery is available from reception.
The air con is quiet & wifi fast & reliable. An openable window.
The ensuite works well with plenty of storage space. An openable window here too.
Particularly like the heater in the bathroom & the electric blankets on the beds, as were were here in winter.
A courtesy tray, microwave, toaster. We chose to have a continental breakfast delivered to our room both mornings. Order the night before from the extensive menu. Very generous muesli, yogurt, fruit, breads & spreads muffins. Very good quality too.
Staff make up the room too, which is appreciated.
Like we did before, we had dinner across the road at the Foundry Hotel, both nights. It is excellent food with plenty of choice served by pleasant staff.
This is a lovely place to stay. All staff we encountered were so pleasant & helpful.
We had stayed here before & thought it excellent then. It still is & recommend staying here.
