Last minute trip. Rang direct and received a small discount. From the initial phone call to the time we left we had a great experience. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. The wifi only worked from the porch- but hey we were on holidays - it wasn't a big concern. The staff were fantastic- very helpful with local information. The spa was out of order but we weren't going to use it- maybe get rid of it- obviously a high maintenance item. Convenient location with ample parking and close to supermarkets and hotels etc. We would stay there again for sure.

I've stayed in some pretty terrible places and been happy. BUT, if you say you have internet, make sure it damn well works because some people actually need it to work. Asked reception multiple times (staff were very nice) and the only working solution I was offered was sitting in the restaurant and connecting to the office network which isn't normally available to guests. So, if you need internet to work for more than 5 minutes at a time, be prepared to sit in the restaurant while you work.... Oh ye, checked the spa last night and it was empty. HAVE FUN!

Room tip: Broken Internet and Wifi

Motel is under new management. Reception was good and friendly. Lots of rooms, ground and first floor. My first floor Room was very out dated and need lots of repairs, tiles missing in bathroom, smoke detector hanging from ceiling, bench top lifting and small balcony needs a good high pressure wash. Room was clean, shower ok but small, bed also ok. Fridge was sitting on pieces of cardboard so you can open door? Only 2 breakfast times, breakfast was good. Motel really need a lot of work done to it. Would look for a better motel next time in Bendigo.

Stayed for one night last week and wouldn't again. Room smelt stale and of smoke though it was supposed to be non smoking. It was just old and not very nice .

It needs a refurbishment, paint, clean up and I'm sure in a town like Bendigo there are much better places

Due to a recent work commitment I stayed at the Bendigo Motor Inn for 3 weeks over September and October 2016. Yes, the decor is dated, but the business is under new management and they are working towards updating everything. Give them time.

I found check in/out to be easy, staff friendly, rooms clean, beds comfortable with extra pillows available and the food was fantastic. The motel may be budget, but the food certainly isn't. Good sized servings, fresh ingredients and you can tell the chef has a passion for what he does. Go to Medora's even if you aren't staying overnight.

The family are happy to chat, give directions, ask how your day was and are genuinely friendly. There is a games room off to one side of the restaurant, and a pool, spa and sauna. It was too cold to use them while I was there.

Onsite parking is ample with space for buses and caravans. There are some shops across the road and a shopping centre 1km away.

If you are a hotel snob this won't be for you, but if are looking for comfort and good food, stay here.

Thank you again, and I hope to see you all again soon.
