Went out for dinner, my partner ordered a steak medium rare. It took an exceptionally long time to come out and when it did the steak was so tough and overcooked it could not be cut with a steak knife. Once staff were alerted to the fault they became rude and defensive and did not apologise for the poor quality meal. The waitresses avoided our table the rest of the night because they knew the had stuffed up. We will never return because of the way they handled the complaint, they basically blamed us for their substandard food 👎

WORST service & food in Bendigo, years ago they use to be so so good & would have highly recommended it
The staff were extremely rude, unprofessional service, especially from the older lady with black glasses & blonde hair who started being disrespectful, absolutely ruined my friends birthday & now I’m so embarrassed I invited them to such an awful place. The veggies were very cold and raw while the pasta was hard and rubbery & my friend got food poisoning. They were hurrying us to order, kept looking at us and then their watches even though they didn’t close for another hour and a bit, whilst others were coming in to also sit down & order.
Very sad & disheartening experience, it really doesn’t take alot to be kind.

Was craving steak and went to have dinner there with a friend. Not our first or second time going there but tonight was very disappointing as we were so excited and hungry. I ordered a medium rare T-Bone and when got served, I was in disbelief with how it look as I wasn’t expecting it to be burnt. Tried to brighten up the photo in case it’s my camera lighting that makes it look so burnt but even if it’s brighten up , burnt is burnt. Steak was very bitter and yes, burnt. For $35+, expected to be better.

We called in for lunch on Friday at around 2 pm and decided to have a big breakfast which is available up to 4 pm, the restaurant was quite and the young woman that served us did not stop the whole time we were there. The restaurant was spotless. The food was very good and the meals were large.

Had a second lunch here and not disappointed. Staff are great, efficient and friendly.
Drinks out quickly.
Food is tasty and large serves, worth the prices. Actually the prices are in line with any other cafe.
Only issue is the Hotel signs hanging out the front which misleads some into thinking it is still a hotel over a cafe. If they remove the signs it wouild be so much better.
This cafe is always very busy at lunch.
Chicken satay is delicious. As with Chicken Noodles.
Both dishes highly recommended.
Will return. Do yourself a favor and try Lazy Moes.
