Visited with some girlfriends for a ladies dinner and we were all really excited. The drinks selection was great, the house shiraz was delicious. My friends raved about the cocktails, apparently they were great. Then came the food! We had the chef's 5 course selection which was great value, had we known how much of it was seafood/ fish. In retrospect we should have asked when ordering (and I didn't mind because I got a few extra bits of whatever was on the table) but one of the ladies was not fan of seafood so she didn't get to eat much. You'd also not want to make plans for the night, dinner took bit over 3 hours for 5 courses. The selections were great though and I'd definitely recommend the chicken wings, delish!!! A really nice Asian fusion menu with some top quality cocktails, perfect for a night with friends!

So we arrived at 530,had cocktails cause kitchen didn't open til 6, ordered the "feed me" 7 course at 615. 1st meal not outtil 645. Every meal after that almost half an hour between. The first meal was sashimi it was beautiful we were hopeful. The other 6 courses were over or under cooked topped off with icy ice-cream. The worst course was the burnt beef ribs, and everything had chilli and corriander, too much. We won't be returning.
Waste and of time and money. Plus it was freezing and service ,well , only one girl seemed to know what was happening.

Visited Four Ponies with family for a special occasion and left three hours later feeling a little disappointed.
We waited for 15 minutes at the front of the restaurant in the cold (the huge front door had been left open and it was freezing outside), avoided by staff who were clearly run off their feet. Finally, a staff member approached us and we found that my online booking was not recorded, despite receiving a confirmation email.. Once seated, staff took a further 20 minutes to return with a drinks menu and another 15 minutes to bring food menus. A waitress apologised for "forgetting" us and quick brought our drinks out. We were worried the food would take even longer to come out, but it did arrive very quickly and was nice and hot.
The food itself is good - tasty and well-priced, but nothing out-of-the-ordinary. It's well cooked, but the menu is a bit all over the place. I love the whole share-plate thing, but many of the dishes are difficult to share. We were a party of five and found it hard to share dishes that only contained four serves, such as pork bao buns (4 serves) and spring rolls (4 serves). There were very few side dishes and even fewer complimented each other, resulting in a bit of a mish-mash of cuisines.
Luckily, the bread and butter pudding saved the evening (seriously delicious) and the bill was very reasonable.
This place has great potential, but the menu needs a bit of a rethink and more staff need to be rostered on weekends and busy periods.

A local friend suggested this converted garage space as a good option to take some work colleagues for an early evening meal and overall proved to be a hit. The only negative, we were seated by an inexperienced young staff member who insisted we should order drinks before seeing the food menu... bad start. However, once I explained that their tapas style menu may suit different wines she relented to the customers request!
We ordered an interesting range of dishes to suit our group of four with a lovely riesling from small grower Adelina. All dishes were good to excellent and served with nice space between plates. At least three members of staff dropped over to the table to ask how the meal was going so the initial setback was forgotten.
I liked the old garage refit and layout with a large bar perfect for a drink and a bite with friends after work and would certainly eat here regularly if it was closer to Sydney!

4th visit to this place. When u eventually get the food it is really tasty and well presented. We arrived at 5.35 with no booking, just my husband and I. We said we’d be quick, just 1 glass of wine with food then home. We ordered at approximately 5.45. Got the entree at 6.20. Service here has always been slow. Staff are friendly but just don’t scan and service the tables promptly enough. I’m glad we came early as I’m sure coming at 7ish will mean Ppl will wait far too long. Considering we were the 2nd order in kitchen, wondering whether it’s an issue in the kitchen?? Great venue but come guys speed it up
