We stayed here two nights. One night on the way in from Sydney and one night before we went back to Sydney. Our first check can experience with seamless, fast, friendly and efficient and we really appreciated the help and positive attitude of the gentleman Manning the front desk.

Our second check-in experience was a nightmare. I had one reservation per day with two rooms under my name for me and my best friend. The first gentleman seem to get that concept quite easily, but yesterday when we checked in the lady at the front desk check me in and then as I was walking away, assuming we'd been checked in for both rooms, asked if I wanted the second room as well so i had to go back and go through it all again. This doesn't seem like a difficult concept to me, but she wasn't terribly helpful. She wasn't terribly intelligent and she certainly didn't have a positive attitude

So what I will say is if you stay here, it's a 50/50 bet. Whether you get positive or negative service. The rims are clean, quiet and comfortable. But the staff is hit and miss

Stayed as part of a tour group: Trade Travel. Only two washing machines for a very large place; not available till 8am so get there as the room opens and take 3x$1 coins with you. Closes at 9pm I think? There is a dryer too but I didn't use it.
Tired old place that needs a total refurbishment. The rooms pictured are nothing like the one I was given. On 6th floor facing the city so did have a good view; others in the group looked onto a brick wall and a car park.
Bathroom was unsafe with water pooling on the floor after a shower. Nowhere to hang hand towel, face washer not provided and not delivered when requested. Very thin towels and toilet paper so thin it was almost see through. Pillows smelt of the liniment methyl salicylate, curtains don't close properly so couldn't block out the light, no chair for the desk, coffee maker water dispenser wasn't clean so didn't use it; kettle too big to fit into wash basin so brewing a cuppa was only possible if glass by glass you filled the kettle. No biscuits; standard practice now?
Breakfast was just acceptable with the usual fare offered. Little pastries were cold; no saucer for cups and no water only juice.
Dinner was awful even though it was pre-ordered days in advance: a Trade Travel policy that regrettably, happened with most main meal. No vegetables and a tiny amount of a commercially prepared salad (supermarket packets are better). The 'brandy' baskets were old so they were tough not crunchy, and were filled with that terrible 'cream' in a can stuff. Coffee machine in restaurant turned off at 7pm!! Nowhere to sit and relax before dinner. Reception staff knew nothing about the surrounding areas so could not provide simple directions to the nearby park; found it myself in the end.
I'd go somewhere else and don’t use Trade Travel; neither of them represents value for money.

Room tip: take coins for washing machine and dryer

Good hotel with excellent location. Room was clean and functional and staff was very helpful.

We requested for a change of room after being assigned one near the laundry room. We are light sleepers and would be disturbed by the noise. The front desk staff was very helpful to get us a change of room.

Service was great, from phone conversations, and check in and out. Carparking was behind the hotel and at good cost. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great view. Use of the hotel internet was also helpful.

Excellent location, central to the CBD. However, rooms were comfy but the bathroom was dated and needed a good repaint and regrout. We were on level 3 so not sure if refurb rooms were elsewhere but we got the dates room! We booked through Wotif so maybe they give the crappier rooms to booking apps! Anyway we loved the location and didn’t spend much time in room so it worked relatively well.
