got a great rate very last minute through wotif. large spacious suite style room. separate lounge and bedroom with king bed. clean, modern and light with a balcony. large bathroom with bath and separate toilet. Has microwave and toaster and kettle. Minibar is quite expensive and you have to pay to park there. hotel has a reasonable gym too. All in all it was very good value. the hotel is close to town and the facilities are really very good.

Stayed at The Sebel on a business trip and found it really great.

The rooms are quite large, we were in a two bedroom suite, which had king beds in both rooms as well as two bathrooms.

The difficulty we had was housekeeping. The floor wasn't vacuumed for 10 days until we requested it to be. The room had a kitchen in it meaning sometimes things fell onto the floor, making vacuuming more necessary.

Twice we left a note for housekeeping on the table asking to take the excess rubbish and old newspapers, neither times did they take it. We had to ring up and ask them to collect it.

The gym is great, a little small but all that is necessary for a good workout. It has a treadmill, bike, all-in-one weights machine and a fitball.

Overall we enjoyed our two weeks at The Sebel, the rooms were large and the service other than housekeeping was fantastic.

Booked our room with Wotif, and was very happy with the accommodation. The 1 bedroom suite had a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings and even a washer/dryer. Balcony with two chairs and a table, but no ashtray for smokers. Room service was a little pricey (we only had dinner), and carparking is charged on top of the room rate. Great little cafe at the transit station down the road with full breakfasts (far cheaper than the hotel itself), and the Visitor Information Centre is also located here.

The rooms looks modern but the service is average.
we were told to put a docket on the dashboard when we check in. They however "forget" to tell us the parking fee in the hotel parking lot costs 6 dollars(not sure if its per day). I later raised this question to the counter and she only asked "who checked you in?" and that's it.

The water on the bedside table costs 5 dollars and they might charge you over toothpaste, too.

We had a great stay here. The rooms were larger, modern and very comfortable and the staff were pleasant. Everything was good quality. Very nice.
