It's a small park but very pretty. Great for a picnic or place to relax, pretty plants and trees as well. The monkeys are free to visit as their enclosure is outside, there's also a viewing platform undercover, which is good for kids so they're protected from the sun. It can get quite busy at the weekends/ public holidays. There's a free train for kids that goes around the park at weekend.

City park in Launceston was well kept and staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Lovely array of flowers on display and the monkeys kept the humans entertained with their playful antics. Well worth the stroll.

A lovely park for the family! With a path all around the park walking by the water pond, monkeys and cafe whats not to love. theres a kids park, garden house, a pond with fish and ducks, live chess and a train that goes around the park!
A lovely little park for anyone :)
