We had two nights in the Bakehouse. It is a beautifully renovated space with every possible amenity. Extremely comfortable and very quiet - there is even a small private courtyard. Breakfast provisions are provided, and it is also linked to the great Cafe Mondello if you feel like a big cooked breakfast. There is a laundry available too.
The position is great - just a short walk to the central area. An excellent hamburger joint is just across the road. Really can’t recommend Two Four Two highly enough. And thanks to James (hope I have his name right) who was a friendly warm and helpful host.

Huge thank you to James for making this trip! We were in Launceston for a wedding and James was able to let us check in early to get ready. Great to have little details supplied in the kitchen and bathroom. Basically it felt like you were home. Great cafe adjoining and awesome location. Defiantly would recommend and stay there again.

The apartment was well appointed and had lots of little touches that made for a lovely stay. Only drawback was the bed which was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle.
Otherwise location was excellent.

Terrific location if you wish to explore Launceston by foot or bike but if you have a car and/or noise is a problem for you, perhaps consider other options as the street noise was consistently loud and our sleep was severely compromised thus spoiling what was in general a pleasant experience.

The kitchen was well kitted out. The breakfast materials and bread provided were excellent and much appreciated along with the vouchers for coffee at the adjacent Cafe. Some of the supplies (kitchen & bathroom) did however need topping up or refreshing. Having the option for BBQ'ing outside in the beautiful little court yard was also good although we didn't use it.

Parking and accessibility was excellent. The internal spiral staircase would be challenging for anyone not fully mobile or if you have a large suitcase as the bedroom is upstairs.

We stayed in the Terrace for 2 nights. Such a terrific location - walking distance to some great restaurants ( See Geronimo review ) and in a quiet neighbourhood. Excellent to have off street parking. A lovely outside area and bikes available if you feel like a ride.
The apartment was extremely well appointed and someone has put a lot of thought into the kitchen and bathroom - along with a great breakfast supply. The bedroom upstairs had a very comfy bed and opening up the doors to the outside breeze was superb, terrific sleep. We loved staying here.
