Surprising sinkhole in the middle of the city where they have created a pretty garden. This is worth a visit en route to the art gallery.

As a former resident of Mt Gambier, I was disappointed to see how poorly maintained the Cave Garden is. It was once so lush and area of pride. Now it has trash in the bottom and much of the vegetation has been removed. I am hoping it is undergoing maintenance if not, then it is nothing to be proud of. Hope the Council rectify.

Next to the Riddoch centre is the sinkhole cave gardens. This is well presented and you can walk right down into the sinkhole. It is right in the city so it is amazing it is there and they have nice gardens all around.

Small sink hole garden in city centre a short stroll to the base. Has viewing platforms if you wish to stay at the top good for wheel chairs.
