Stayed here for 4 months after my house was burned down by an arsonist.
Great location in a quiet street within easy walking distance of town, restaurants, pubs, shops.
Very high quality fixtures and fittings making for a comfortable stay.

Myself, husband and 2 teenage children stayed in April of this year. Very convenient (not location though as is a fair way out of town) just enter your pin on the combination lock on the front door and enter. The 2 bedrooms are a good size and as are both of the bathrooms. A bit odd how there is a 'study' with a pull out couch (that you have to supply your own linen), as this seemed like a waste of a room, all I can presume it has something to do with planning permission and so they are only allowed to have 2 bedrooms. Full laundry facilities, which came in very handy when myself and my daughter got a dose of food poisoning. Unfortunately she didn't make it to the bathroom and so we had to strip the bed and wash all the linen. Two months later I get a bill for $110 for ONE pillow replacement, for how my neck felt after the one night I really think these pillows are overpriced!! A half carton of milk in fridge and a bottle of red wine was very welcome, but having "International Roast' instant coffee sachets was a shock and a huge letdown on what quality you would expect of this establishment. I think when you pay $290 for one night, it wouldn't be too much to expect to have a half loaf of fresh bread and some small boxes of cereal as this would have gone a long way to make the stay more comfortable, especially including some decent coffee. Overall a comfortable stay, and we would consider staying there again as long as those few things mentioned are changed.

My wife and I decided to take a weekend trip to mt Gambier. Whilst I'm happy to camp outside in a tent my better half will only sleep under the stars if there is 5 of them!!
so i hunted the web for a decent place that would be up to her standard.
we chose regent on wallace which is brand new residence a small distance for the city centre that is kitted out to cater for those looking for high quality.
We were both extremely impressed, this is an awesome place to stay and seemed virtually untouched, i think we were the the first people to stay there. There wasn't a spa bath which was the only downer butoverall this place looks like something out of vouge, very very well done.
PS. the resturarnt guide they provide was spot on - had one of the greatest meals ever at the Barn steakhouse!
will be back.
