Real friendly check-in. The basics were good, comfy bed extra pillows, good shower pressure.
Great location for Glenelg cafes, beach walk & tram to city or Morphetville.
Good brekky deal & friendly staff in there too.
I'll stay again.

We arrived and checked in with no hassles. the lady at the counter was very nice and gave information for our stay. She said we had been upgraded to a marina view room on the ground floor, which we thought would be lovely as we had only booked a standard room. Well, a little disappointed with the upgrade. Not anything special. Hard to believe, wondering what the standard room was like. The room was very warm when we arrived so we put on the air conditioning (split system). This was quite noisy and did not get the room cool. The room and en suite was very clean but could use a little modernization. Toilet must have a leak from the cistern as it was making a noise all the time. Though, I suppose for the price the room was o.k. It is in a great position, not far from Mosely Square and the heart of the shopping district of Glenelg.

Rooms are run down as other reviews say, but the location is fairly convienet. It's a nice 5-10 minute walk to stores and restaurants. The restaurant below makes nice coffee. Reception staff are lovely and friendly. Perhaps the hotel would be better for those with cars. Next time we will be staying closer to glenelg centre to spend the money on somewhere a little less dated and more convenient.

We reluctantly stay here for one-night at an excessive room rate of $152 in comparison to others in the area at the time.
The staff were helpful, friendly and pleasant. However, unfortunately the motel property had reached it’s used by date and is long overdue for a refurbishment. But I must say, seeing the structural condition of the building I.e. concrete, it would be better to just knock the building down all together and rebuild again due to cost of refurbing these days. The only good thing I could say about the room was the queen size bed was comfortable and clean. Sadly though, the bathroom finishes we’re old 70’s style, scale build up in the shower recess and the toilet required at least three times to flush your dirty business away....disgusting really. The last thing you would want to see, or for that matter your partner to see, is your dirty business coming back to haunt you.
Also I would’ve expected to see at least a toaster provided in the room but unfortunately not. The wrecking ball coming soon to this establishment. Give it a miss, you’ll find better value elsewhere.

Firstly when it says “pet friendly” this motel actually is. It’s very reasonably priced and only charges an extra $50 for your fur baby. We found this great value at a great location.
It’s walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Right across from the Marina with a huge grass park. You can dine in or dine out. Rooms are clean and well presented. You get what you pay for nothing more and nothing less. We found the staff to be friendly and more than accommodating. I will be happy to recommend this place to my friends and will certainly be back again.
