Having been staying here for about 6 years when I come to Adelaide, either solo or with family. Ownership has just changed recently but service and friendliness has not. New owners have installed Foxtel and are upgrading rooms. Will continue to stay and recommend this place to anyone wanting affordable comfortable accommodation close to Glenelg.

Just completed a tour of Adelaide and surrounds where the "Comfort Inn Anzac HWY" in Glenelg was home for 4 days and nights.
On behalf of "Road Runner Tours Wyong" and all my passengers I wish to congratulate and thank the owners and the staff for their hospitality and making our stay a delightful one.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean, very restful nights.
Complements must also go the the Chef and kitchen staff, as we all looked forward at the start and end of each day for breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Stayed here 24/3, casual night away for my daughters birthday..

Close to Glenelg beach, choose it because of price and had a pool...

The Pros -

Check in was quick and easy, friendly owner, she said they only started there 10days ago.

Room was very clean, in fact one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in awhile, had room 9, set up for 3 people with queen bed plus single, could park right outside the door.. a little outdated in furniture and decor but everything was comfortable and clean and tidy.. presently surprised..

Beds were comfy.. gorgeous throw rugs on the beds that felt so lovely ..

Tea/coffee facilities with microwave, toaster, also had cutlery in the room to.. were given fresh milk on check in..

They have a small bar/restaurant on site which is great.

Ordered room service- have to say the food was delicious ! We paid $86 for 2 main meals & desert and breakfast ... some prices seemed a bit higher but overall were ok, at least the option is there if you wanted it.

All the staff we came across we friendly & helpful, it was a very clean tidy motel close to the beach, not that far from the airport or city either..

Even though it’s on a main road it was extremely quiet at night, couldn’t really hear the cars or anything like that..

The Cons -

The pool was really the only let down of the stay because it just wasn’t clean ... lots of dirt etc on the bottom and floating on top but other than that it’s a great little set up with chairs/tables all around.. it is a good size pool though.

The Mango smoothie probably was a bit of a let down also, didn’t really have much mango taste to it, seemed quite milky, wasn’t worth $8 either unfortunately.. but that is me being picky lol

Would we recommend and stay again ??

ABSOLUTELY YES ... plus you get discount if you have road side assistance memberships..

Adelaide is normally so expensive for so little. This is great value, you can walk to Glenelge beach, shops etc, have washing machine, dryer and kitchenette. Fantastic value. Great parking at door, any problems were quickly rectified.

We've stayed her a couple of times and find the motel has large clean rooms which provide value for money. Parking is plentiful, service friendly and whilst its not in the centre of Glenelg its a easy walk (15 minutes or so) to shops, restaurants and cafes.
