Delicious Greek food. Great size meals and lovely atmosphere. A little overpriced but saying that so are a lot of places in Glenelg.

We were a group of 15 including 1 child and 2 teenagers we were visiting from overseas and catching up with the friends who recommended we eat here. We all loved our food from dips right through to desserts and Greek coffee. The variety of flavours was amazing, from the Saganaki, meat balls and spanakopita to the goat so much to choose from an absolutely fabulous menu. I must mention the outstanding service by our waitress Katrina to all of us, it was very impressive and much appreciated If you have an employee of the month award then I highly recommend it goes to Katerina.I would most definitely recommend a visit and a meal here, also it is situated at the marina in holdfast shores a lovely area to have a walk around after your meal.

Service: Overall was terrible, and at times non-existent. The waiter only asked half the table for their drinks order, and when the other half finally prompted a waiter to take their order the chaos continued. Not once did a waiter ask if anyone wanted more drinks, instead empty bottles and glasses were left to clutter the table - all while we sat and watched 3 staff stand behind the bar talking to each other, polishing the same glass over and over. The place wasn't even near capacity, so I would hate to see what it’s like when they are busy.

Mains: 4 of our guests ordered the set menu, only to be told by the waiter that unless > 70% of the table ordered this they were not able to accommodate (despite the menu stating that it was for 4 or more people). The people at our table felt pressured to change their order so that our birthday guest (who was celebrating their 60th) could have the set menu. In the end, we decided that we would all get our own meals only to find that certain menu items were unavailable. The main meals themselves were okay, but for the price you pay you can have nicer and better value for money at Kefi or Taverna.

Dessert: We ordered 3 serves of Loukoumades, only to have the waitress come back and advise they didn't have enough, they could only give us 2 serves and 1 guest would “have to share with someone else”. To make up for the shortage, we were offered a side of strawberries for free. The same waitress returned a few minutes later advising that they were also out of strawberries. I find it hard to believe that they weren't able to make another mixture of loukoumades given the simple ingredients (water, milk, sugar, salt, butter, flour, eggs etc.). But to be honest, it was a good thing they ran out, when the serve of Loukoumades came out they were over-cooked, rock hard, and dry. Not even the side of ice cream was enough to make them edible. At least we had our dessert arrive, one of guests had their dessert left sitting on the counter. We sat watching, waiting, but no-one bothered to bring it to the table (despite still appearing on our final bill).

The only positive thing I can say – at least the cold and disinterested waiter processed our payment quickly so that we could get out of there.

Special mention to Tony for impeccable service, something that seems to be disappearing in restaurants today

We have traveled a lot in greece and loooove greek food, this restaurant absolutely lived up to our expectations. We ate pita and tatsiki, saganaki, and pork souvlaki and everything was perfekt. If our stay in glenelg was longer we would definately go back.
