Went to see "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" was a Friday night classic....from the car-parking to the movie it was an all round great experience, the car-parking has licence plate recognition as well as 2 hours free parking, so was great in that respect. the food available and the atmosphere was great....will definitely be back

Attended with the wife on 24/2 for the last showing of the night starting at 9.30pm. Situated just off Jetty Rod, there is plenty of parking right next to the cinema & you can park for up to 4 hours free if using the cinema by scanning your ticket on the way out. The entrance foyer to the cinema is clean, modern & it doesn't feel like you're going into a cinema...more like a nice, modern hotel. Up the stairs is a dining/seating area & a huge long bar to purchase tickets, drink, food etc. The menu is more than you'd expect at a cinema with lots of options & a reasonable wine/beer menu as well. The staff member was very friendly & explained we could take whatever we wanted into the theatre, where we collected our food, recommended certain dishes etc...very good service. We chose a pint of beer, glass of Sav Blanc, the Belgian waffles with marshmallows, ice-cream, shortbread biscuit crumble & a medium popcorn. Add to this, 2 adult tickets for the cinema (usually $20 but we had vouchers for $14 each), the total cost was $76.....fairly reasonable we thought all in all. We were in cinema 3 & it was very plush & new. The seats are all faux leather & very comfortable & plenty of room. Although it's not gold class, it did feel like it (but without the $40 tickets) & there was only about 10 others in there, so loads of space in an approx 100 seater room. Not sure if it was the time we went & might not be the same when busier, but we were served quickly, never felt rushed, plenty of room, lovely staff & a great all round atmosphere & experience...we will definitely be back !

Unfortunately not a good review today although when I went previously it was great here avoid on an event night like Valentine's Day we had to wait in a line to pick up our repurchased online tickets for half an hour missing all the previews and only getting into cinema just as movie started.

I went to a function at the GU Film House in December. In the main bar they can cater for small parties of guests (pre-film). - The food is really good very innovative, fresh and varied. I have not tried one of the platters but I hear they are very good.

Alcohol (Beer and wine) is not cheap that's the biggest downside - they may need to look at the price point because its too high in my opinion.

Have been to this cinema a few time's since it has opened. I have to say that it is by far the best cinema we've been to for a long time. Conveniently located just off Jetty Road, this cinema is a great place to watch any new release film.
