Table Top mountain is just outside Toowoomba. You can access it from either picnic point or from the bottom of South St. The walk is energetic and takes a bit of effort but the reward is worth it. Family groups can take this walk and then share in a picnic once on top. Allow a couple of hours for the walk at a relaxing pace it can be done quicker for those looking to test themselves.

A short but challenging hike that includes some scrambling over large rocks and includes a short scramble up a rock face. Would certainly recommend a moderate level of fitness and agility. Terrific panoramic views across the Lockyer Valley from the top.

Great workout getting to the top, but can be done by people of any fitness level. The scenery once you reach the top is spectacular. Would be great to do a picnic on top of the mountain.

A visit to Table Top is a challenge for many, especially the adventurers, but being prepared is the key. For those who'd like to look and don't touch, take a vantage point anywhere along the Toowoomba escarpment and enjoy the view from Picnic Point, Webb Park, Prince Henry Drive. A real spectacle when the Lockyer Valley and area is taking in the fog.

The climb is not for the frail or disabled, as there are some clear tricky sections, including a near vertical cliff at the end, although there are many footholds so it's not a technically difficult climb as such, but you do need to be a bit careful.

The reward is a wonderful 360 degree view of the area. Bring a picnic and enjoy.
