The gardens are a lovely place to just wander about and discover different plants, shrubs, colours and textures. I spent a few hours there with my sister-in-law who lives in the USA and is a very keen gardener. We were both very impressed with the layout and scope of the plantings. A great place for a picnic with friends and family.

My wife and I walk the Botanic Garden as often as possible always finding new beds and exhibits, it is a credit to the hard working staff who maintain the quality of this wonderful place on our doorstep. There is even a fenced, safe children's area with plenty for them to do.

always a pleasure to visit the botanical gardens. even during the week it is so nice to just sit and enjoy the surrounds. lots of beatiful trees and gardens. there are even some friendly ducks to feed if you like.

We go here a lot with the kids. Great enclosed playground. The gardens themselves are truly stunning. Such a gorgeous place to have a picnic or just go for a walk.

The botanic gardens is a wonderful place to visit it offers various work shops, activities for children, pinic tables also has weddings on the premises all surrounded by lanscaped gardens and lawns enjoy the ducks which gather at the huge duck pond they perfer frozen peas bread is not good for them and not encouraged.There is also a tropical green house to explore.Have been goingto these gardens for years would highly recommend a visit.
