My mother and 2 sisters stayed for weekend for a wedding close by. We were very surprised by the size and comfort of the rooms. Very clean, good beds, great hot shower, great location. plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We came in late on the friday and asked reception about dining out and she was very helpful in explaining closest restaurants then we saw the dine in menu. 2 of us had the 2 course and the others the 3 course meal. The chef also brought the meals to the room and although a mix up in the amounts of meals the food was excellent. we all had pumpkin soup, the fish with salad and sticky date pudding. Plenty, great tasting, good value meal all delivered in about 20 minutes.
The only complaints we could find was the fan in the bathroom was noisy and the people in the room above shifted the furniture lots in the evening. You could not here any TVs or people in the coridoors. the heating and appliences all worked well. I cant believe what some people complain about though, dont think they would ever be happy!!!!!

I’m going to be totally honest which may look harsh, but don’t get me wrong. We like the place and consider it among the best value for money we’ve found close to the CBD in the ‘Gong.
OK, so these aren’t the newest serviced apartments in Wollongong, nor are they the closest to the CBD, but for the price they are pretty good. They are only 2 blocks from the eastern end of the Crown St Mall, the restaurant district on Corrimal St, the harbour and about 3 blocks from the surf beach. Maybe being an extra block out of town is a good thing – there was very little street noise even on Friday and Saturday nights in the leadup to Christmas “silly season”.
We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 nights and had room 24, on the upper floor facing west – which is to say, facing the apartment tower across the laneway. This isn’t all bad. As the afternoon sun moves to a position where it would stream in to the lounge and bedrooms and heat the room excessively we got shade from the apartment block.
More about the apartment – a lounge and kitchenette area with separate bedroom and bathroom, this was a very roomy space for 2 people for a couple of days. The kitchen had microwave, cooktop, fridge, toaster, electric jug and an electric frypan – we only used the fridge/toaster/jug as we only ate breakfast in the apartment for the time we were there. TV (with Foxtel) and a DVD player. (looked like a selection of DVDs were available from reception). The A/C in the lounge/kitchen was very effective, but really didn’t help much in the bedroom which remained stuffy for several hours – the lounge was almost Arctic before the bedroom cooled down. The layout of the apartments allows little opportunity for natural cross flow ventilation to cool them.
There was a clothes iron and ironing board in the bedroom cupboard – no in-room safe though. The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. Once the room cooled down we had a pretty good night’s sleep.
The fitout of the room is showing its age – there are some scratches in tables, stains on carpet and “rough edges” in the bathroom and kitchen, but nothing major. Everything worked and was clean.
Reception was helpful and check-in and check-out were uneventful. As others have noted, their standard practice is to hold $100 against your credit card as a security – I’m glad I read about this in T/A so I was forewarned (I have had it happen with other serviced apartment chains too, not with hotels). And, as other s have noted, reception closes early – 8pm is the advertised close – after that you use your key to get in the side doors.
We’ve stayed here before, we enjoyed the stay, I’m guessing there is a good chance we’ll stay here again in the future.

stayed here overnight in July good size apartment and well equiped, lacked any ambience, but that isnt really a fault, paid for internet in the morning and it wouldnt connect, by the time we got it sorted and we got the correct info from reception the time was nearly up, we were offered no refund for this, but to be fair we never asked. Reception closed quite early and we had to make a mad dash from bondi to get there on time, just made it by the skin of our teeth, maybe this was why the receptioist wasnt overly friendly, again wasnt unfriendly either so couldnt complain about that , overall perfectly adequete but just lacking some.... something??

Finding the room on a popular last minute travel site, I had mixed expectations which pretty much sums up the Belmore All-Suite Hotel.
The parking was off street and while full for a Saturday, was not to far to walk to check in. The check staff were freindly and happy to explain where every things was and the layout of place.
The room it self would be best described as minimlist (or better still, bulletproof) . There was enough furniture to sit on and the kitchenette had all that you could want and the beds and bathroom were clean. It's just that the rendered brick walls and a lack of soft furniture left you feeling you were in an echo chamber.
Apart from that the establishment obviously had just been repainted and as such had a clean, almost hospital like quality to it.
While this may not appeal to all, it would be a great palce for families with kids, a groups of freinds wanting to take a break or perhaps the road warrior who wants some space in their room.

This room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a very good sleep. The shower, even though it was over the bath and it was difficult to reach the taps was absolutely lovely! The water pressure was terrific and the temperature fantastic!
The milk supplied for tea was real milk ! Only the tea was pretty poor quality.
Parking was a bit difficult as we arrived quite late and other guests had parked badly but it was okay. I had stayed at this hotel previously and was awakened early in the morning by the garbage truck loading and reversing along the driveway adjacent to the building but this time our stay was at the weekend so we were not disturbed. My husband checked in early in the day and had no problems, other than that we did not see any staff or other guests. It is a good place to stay.
