What a wonderful weekend escape with some friends. We stayed in there executive suites (we booked three suites) and each one of us were impressed with the high quality of the rooms, honestly neither of us could find anything to complain about. The suites were spacious, clean, comfortable, well designed and the finishes were superb. Attention to detail was fantastic. Each of the suites had a balcony with outdoor furniture, coffee machine, bathrobes, minibar as well as your standard toaster, kettle, etc. The suites on the first floor had ducted air conditioning where as the one on the Ground floor had a wall mounted split system air conditioner and all worked quietly an efficiently which is a pleasant bonus. Would gladly stay here again without any hesitation.

I was pleasantly surprised at the finish of the refurbishment that was carried out recently at this hotel. Along with the great new look I found there procedures for checking in and out were extremely efficient as well. All in all I left quite impressed.

I had not held a function here before and I am pleased to see my experience was excellent! From my first enquiry, Suzie Hamilton, Events Manager, was friendly, helpful and accommodating in putting together a package to meet my brief.
The evening before she stepped me through the room and all the facilities to ensure. I was comfortable with everything. The room was setup perfectly with everything I need and then some. I would highly recommend Suzie, her team and The Powerhouse for any function and will certainly be using this venue again.
