This is a great place to stay if you want a little more than the usual motels offer. The rooms are very upmarket, as is the whole place. Quick check in by friendly receptionists, good size rooms which are extremely clean and comfortable.
I stay here regularly for business and wouldn't go anywhere else. The restaurant has been recently renovated and provides 5 star service and menu.

Ok firstly I stayed in a studio spar room.
The room was ok, nice for a stop over or a couple of nights and close to town.
Now on another note when ever needing reception with the hotel or restaurant you are left there waiting wondering if anyone is working.
And the restaurant itself has a very nice feel about it and the menu seems to be put together well lots of nice food, unfortunately it is let down by the cooks or cook with not much care put into the dishes (we strongly considered not eating at the restaurant for the remainder of our stay)and odd behavior coming from the kitchen which I can only describe as frat boy behavior in particular two tattoo sporting young guys.

Very stylish rooms with floor to ceiling tiles in the bathrooms - reminds me of the Hilton in Sydney. Air con works extremely well (it was 43 degress when I arrived). Staff were professional (without being particularly friendly) and the hotel is set out nicely and back from the main road. Foxtel works but not a great selection of channels (4 sport and not much else)

Stayed for the night as a stopover travelling Brisbane > Sydney. Good restaurant and a good night's rest (room was cool with the fan and aircon despite the sweltering 40+ weather!)
Took a while to locate the kitchen amenities (it was located in the bottom of the sink). Family enjoyed the short stay!

If you are looking for somewhere close to town with a little style try the Powerhouse. Rooms are clean. Restaurant is very well presented, with the service and quality of food exceptional. A nice place to stay.
