The best restaurant experience I have had would be at EXP restaurant. We booked for a group of 8, and when we arrived we were all greeted happily by most of the staff and made to feel welcome. We were shown to our table, right in the middle of the small restaurant, surrounded by staff. Being such a small restaurant, with 7 staff members working, it was almost like we had a staff member for each person! By the time we were half way through our degustation, we had the restaurant to ourselves. The staff were genuinely interested in what we thought of the food, and chatted to us after each course. They also catered to my request to swap the Kangaroo with a vegetarian option on the day, with such short notice it was just fantastic that they could handle this request with no problem. When they brought out each course, they announced from memory specifically what it entailed, describing the providence of the ingredients. The food is AMAZING. The tasting menu is a roller coaster for the senses, with so many different flavours to taste and aromas to smell. We were there from 2pm-5:30pm, and loved every minute of it!
