We had 2 nights in Hermitage Lodge & found it to be excellent, clean, well serviced, great location & an excellent Restaurant attached with great food. We did a “Two Fat Blokes full day wine & food tour & the motel was central to all the wineries & attractions

Just spent 3 nights at this delightful accommodation. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was at the front facing the road however we did not hear any car traffic at all. The room was lovely and warm and extremely clean. At the rear of the room we had a deck overlooking the vines and we were out there 2 nights eating our take-away pizza from the on-site Italian restaurant and on the 3rd night we went into the restaurant where we had a beautiful 2 course meal. The restaurant staff made you feel really welcome. All in all I would highly recommend the Hermitage Lodge and can't wait to go back there to stay.

Room Tip: They seem to all overlook the vines which is lovely... so they are all great in my opinion.

This is our second stay in the studio accommodation overlooking the vineyard. Rooms are warm and comfy and provide everything you need... including a very healthy , yummy continental breakfast in the room - yogurt, muffins and OJ.

Staff are very professional, friendly, and engaged. Sometimes difficult to find all of these customer service traits in the valley.

We will be back !

The rooms here are beautiful and the little decks are a nice idea.
However the walls are thin and you’ll hear the traffic from the main road at all times. Hubby woke up in the middle of the night thinking someone was standing in the room, when it was in fact the neighbours watching TV in their room.
The location is a bit odd, it’s great to be so close to it all but for a price point above $250/night we expected a bit more. The breakfast is simple, some muffins, muesli and plunge coffee left in the fridge for you to prepare in the morning.
The restaurant food was amazing but over priced.
We enjoyed our stay but probably won’t be coming back.

Accomodation on older side but clean. Desk Staff quite cold and glum - not happy to be there. A mix of young and older team. Real bad energy as you can slice the air. Ordered breakfast over phone and asked for stuff for breakfast that was missing in fridge. They argued and told us we were wrong until showed them photo of fridge. Lose this place.
