The reputation of this famous winery, based on the numerous medals and trophies says it all, but the wines really are magnificent. The service is also outstanding, lovely, happy, knowlegeable people who can't hide their passion for wine and life. Great food too. A Hunter Valley gem.

This was the last winery we attended on our weekend away in the Hunter Valley and the one closest to our accommodation. The gentleman who served us in the wine tasting was very helpful explaining to us novices the differences between the different types of wines. We learnt so much about the wines in the time we were there. I wish I could remember his name but we mentioned him to our accommodation owner and she said he was retired. The wines were very nice and we left with a few bottles for our trip home. Save on a wine tour and head for McWilliams and if the retired gentleman is there go and speak to him.
