Absolutely PERFECT in every way! The cleanliness, beautiful rooms, amazing gym and accomodating staff made our trip faultless. The restaurant (and in particular Leonie) made us feel welcome for breakfast and dinner. Will definitely return:)
What a wonderful, clean hotel with such friendly staff. Alice at reception was so professional, warm and easy to talk to. The food at Whitney’s was superb. Was told new chef is Grant. We finished everything on our plates because it was divine. The price matched the quality and quantity and everything was just perfect. Thank you so much for a very memorable stay!
I'd discovered blood (large amount) on the underneath of a pillow that didn't come from me. When I told the reception staff they looked at me in digust and didn't know what to do, only that they'll tell a manager. I wasn't satisfied that this wouldn't happen again so i reached out to Remington directly and still no response 3 days.
Just traumatic, unhygienic and very disappointed that i couldn't be reassured it will never happen to anyone else.
Rooms good reception ok good dreadful have stayed many times and they can not cook a steak as ordered always overcooked spoils a hard day driving and wiring from Sydney going to change back to Mercure where several great restaurants are a shirt walk away l have tried and tried here for several months reception mostly fuegy even remember me and asks for credit card when it is all over booked via company terrible dll round makes working and travelling HARD WORK other moteks have great service and food
We’ve stayed here at The Remington before a couple of years ago, but this time weren’t as impressed.
Driving an EV and finding they had charging was great, except that three spots were taken with none EV vehicles. Seeing as you leave your rego when checking it, and that the spaces are easily seen from reception, it’s disappointing they hadn’t asked these vehicles to leave. (They were there when we arrived, and still there when we left next morning.)
Also breakfast couple have been better, and more hygienic. Not enough tongues to serve food with. On entry to the restaurant they could have told us where to order coffee, and that it’s an extra charge.
