My husband and i eat at the Burwood regularly. Tonight we took my ma in law and utterly disappointed. Pate entree was outstanding and we all enjoyed but main course was beyond disappointing. Ma in law and i ordered prawns and gnocchi 3 prawns on each and would not conplain except gnocchi was so stodgy it wasn't edible. Waitress came to check on meal and we did not complain- our fault. At end of meal offered free coffee to compensate. We were just disappointed- usually such high standard of food :/

Great "Mayfield" steak. Not cheap and not large but very tender and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.

This place is part pub and part restaurant. On a Saturday night the bars were very busy with a good-natured crowd. The restaurant is set on a raised level within the pub. Everything here works like a well-oiled machine - quick bar service, quick food in the restaurant, all supported by friendly staff who know what they are doing. We had several of the steaks which they say they specialise in, and they were pretty good, if overpriced at $AUD40 each (small quibble: the chimichurri sauce seemed oddly sweet and ain't what they have in Argentina). But there are plenty of cheaper options, including standard pub fare and several fish choices. You buy drinks from the bar and head back to the table, intercepted on the way back by staff who fix you up with wine glasses (like I said, well-oiled machine). A diverse crowd - young, old, families, couples.

Tucked away in the middle of the suburbs this place is a real hidden gem. Went on a Saturday night and the place was busy. The food is great, steak with your choice of sauce. The beer and the wine list is well balance. Do go and have a meal here!

A very popular restaurant, suggest you book. Although there is nice casual seating outside the restaurant , which also fills fast. Food is excellent
