I have previously reviewed this establishment but it was a while ago. I went for lunch on a Friday and decided to go for one of the $12 lunch specials available. The Chicken BLT was one of the most underwhelming and smallest meals I have had at a hotel. No chips served with it and the "sandwich" it self was very small and not very tasty. I am used to rolls and sandwiches that are Moorish and generous. This one was very disappointing. it was a really shame.
Oh well, at least there are lots of hotels with vale for money Monday to Friday Lunch specials around that I will go to instead.

The food here is usually pleasant pub grub. No surprises but today was really bad. Fish Taco and Calamari salads. No flavour, poorly cooked, ran out of slaw, no seasoning, no dressing. It’s like the cook didn’t turn up and someone had to step in that didn’t know what they were doing. Hope tomorrow goes better for them.

A busy evening meal at the Clarendon, with the theatre crowd.
The booking we had made a week earlier was not in the book, however a very obliging and attentive waitress made a table for four available. Thank You.!

The menus are grotty pieces of paper and reflect poorly on the bistro image.
Food is slightly overpriced and presented in a hurry. Our table had schnitzel which was overcooked and plonked on the plate.
The fish part of my fish and chip meal was minute and a very average meal at that.
Apart from the excellent service on the part of two waitresses, this was an average dining experience.
My view is that this venue needs a shake up in supervision and standards.

We were here for a birthday dinner with 15 people. The service was a bit slow and they missed bringing 3 meals out and could not work out which meals had been missed and what was the side courses of these meals. The meals themselves were very average with lots of comments from the other people at the table on the quality of the meals.
I wont be rushing back!
