We recently had a few days in the Goulburn / Canberra part of Australia and discovered this hidden gem. We had several meals at the cafe/ bistro but the breakfasts were the meals that impressed . Great food and very reasonable prices with coffee that was some of the best I have had. The service was friendly and quick .
Either dine in or take away the food quality was the same.
We enjoyed the lovely heritage building with it’s two open fire places, that were a blessing when the temperature hit -2.
The cafe / bakery is open from 6am for the early risers and continues to operate until about 9pm. Bistro style meals available for lunch and dinner again very reasonably priced.
For the evening crowd the bar staff offer a good range of drinks and cocktails.
Goulburn appears to be a very large old country town still with all the hospitality of days gone by.
