Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the shearing shed motor lodge. Very friendly staff, clean comfy rooms, ideal location, good price, great Thai restaurant across the road (Amazing Thai restaurant) and sparkling swimming pool! Would recommend wholeheartedly!

We stayed overnight at the Shearing Shed Inn and it was certainly consistent with the positive reviews. The car park was full and it looked like it was quite busy. I was slightly concerned to see it was on the main road, but it was surprisingly quiet upstairs. It’s not a recently built motel and the design and facilities reflect this, but it was certainly clean, comfortable and well located, being extremely close to the Main Street.
The communication right from booking in and on the day of our arrival was excellent and on arrival the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts was very apparent.
The real milk was appreciated and advice about where to eat.
For our quick stopover it certainly met our expectations and we slept comfortably and well.

Rooms were very clean and presentable. Bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and allowed a great nights sleep. After a long road trip, the sunken bathtub is just what was needed to relax. Will definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation recommending this to others.
