We recently visited Broken Hill and stayed in Kookaburra Cottage which had everything we needed. Barb, owner, gave us a basket of goodies when we arrived - eggs, butter, bread, milk and packets of small cereal which was much appreciated. The cottage was set up with everything we needed including various condiments in the kitchen and shampoo in the bathroom, maybe left over from other guests, but still appreciated. There is a laundry and dryer but the washing did take 90 minutes. It is only a couple of blocks from the centre of BH.
