From the moment the door was opened to welcome us to The Callie, by our friendly host Hugh, we were thrilled that we had selected The Caledonian for our 5 night stay in Broken Hill. Our twin room was warm, quiet and conveniently positioned across from the bathroom. The beds was so comfortable and the linen crispy clean.
Hugh and Barb were wonderful hosts making sure that our visit to Broken Hill was memorable and enjoyable They were almost upstaged by Pierre and Jacques their friendly and sweet poodles. A home away from home. There was one problem and that was the endless supply of tasty Anzac biscuits. The scales when I returned home informed me that I may have eaten too many. Hugh's tourist guide suggestions were very helpful. Our holiday in Broken Hill was so interesting and enjoyable. So much to see and do. Do not miss Margaret's tasty meals at the Silverton Café especially if you are gluten intolerant, a large menu to choose from. Another must see is the Big Picture breathtaking. Ellie and Susan.
