we were looking for a budget motel and booked at the Burvale. It is a 3 star place in a row of similarly aged motels. We were in Albury on business for one night. The place was probably built early 70's Our room was just what we wanted - both beds were in good condition - clean beds, clean sheets, clean bathroom and a hot shower. The beds and television appear to have been updated recently. We had read someone found it noisy, we took ear plugs but they weren't necessary, bit of traffic noise but not excessive.

Room tip: continental breakfast $8 not until 7.30 earlier breakfast short walk to pub, also evening meals at pub (early 70's style ) good value.

As portrayed. For $95 for a room with a queen bed and a single it was excellent value. Clean sheets ,towels and bed. Had a large flat screen tv and everything else we needed. Breakfast for $8 per person was fine as far as a continental breakfast is concerned.

Room tip: Back of the motel is quieter.

My room was quite spacious and included TV, Fridge, tea making facilities, ironing board and iron, hairdryer and toiletries.
The bed linen was very crisp and of excellent quality and the bed very comfortable.
My room was at the back and so very quiet.
The reception staff were great. I somehow managed to leave a book in my room and Bob wrapped and labelled it for me so that a courier could pick it up. Thanks Bob.
I arrived around 18.00 and did not leave my room but I did notice an Aldi just down the street and saw some guests walking to go for dinner.

Eight days spent at the Burvale. We were certainly looked after by the hosts. The group always received a warm welcome and any need was attended too. Rooms were always clean. Yearly booking. Ideal location.

This motel is good value for money. We found it to be clean with comfortable beds and in a very convenient location - far enough off the freeway to escape the noise but easy to access and return to the trip the next day. Also close to city centre for food and movies. Rooms have older style fixtures but are clean with tasteful modern decor and lovely crisp pressed sheets. By far this place's greatest asset are the beautiful people who run it. Nothing was too much trouble and they offered extra assistance at every turn. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
