We enjoyed our stay in this unit, being there for two nights. The sofa is not the same one as pictured. Otherwise, everything's the same. Things are a bit tired. It could do with a bit of sprucing up like fresh paint, etc. However, it is in a very nice location, away from the hustle bustle of Queenstown and right by Shot Over Canyon and the jet boat rides. Parking was no problem even though we had to park on the street most of the time. It was convenient. The stairs weren't a problem either. Bed was okay comfort wise, but a bit soft for our backs. Price good for the area.
Studio 28 was an adequate accommodation for my wife and I.
It would have been better if there were 2 door keys instead of just one and better if a porch light was available to help find a dropped key in the night. The BBQ on the porch is ready to be replaced as it has reached the end of its useful life. The same could be said for the tiny refrigerator it did not make ice cubes and barely worked efficiently to keep contents cold. One should always check before booking to see, if one can, how many stairs there are particularly if traveling with large heavy suitcases.
Never the less, we had an enjoyable stay at studio 28.
We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed the comforts of this stay. It is nicely layout and furnished. Comfy bed and very quiet neighborhood. Has a decent size tv with DVDs player and a choice of movies to watch.
Only complaint is that the choice of pots & pans is limited as the ones supplied are badly worn and broken.
About a 5 minute drive to Queenstown.
