“Studio Room”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

The bedroom and the living area in the studio room were spacious enough, although a little on the dark side due to only having a small glass door and window for natural light. The bathroom was very small with just a shower and no bath tub. I've stayed at Peppers in Queenstown before in a 2 bedroom apartment which was by far a higher standard of accommodation. It's just the little things like the wardrobe door was broken and the cabinet in the living area didn't close properly.

We had a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment at the front on the 3rd floor with stunning views of the lake and a great balcony which opened up the whole apartment to the outside. Yes there's no air conditioning but that didn't worry us. Everything else was wonderful. The room was modern, well appointed and very clean.
The only let down was the wifi. We had just come from a small hotel which provided unlimited time for free and given the difference in standard and price, to only be offered 10 minutes free and then an exorbanent price for anything after that was really disappointing.
Breakfast was simple but tasty and if you order it the night before it was only $14 - great value!

Room Tip: Go the lake view rooms - it's worth it!

Our stay at Peppers Beacon was AMAZING!! I was a little worried booking it initially as we'd recently stayed at a Peppers property in NSW which did not meet my expectations.

We stayed at Peppers in January 2012 for 3nights. At check in the staff were kind enough to upgrade us from the Garden View room to a 2 Bedroom Lake view room which was just gorgeous. The room we stayed in was very spacious and had a kitchen which was great if you wanted to have breaky in. The staff were great, they were very accommodating and helpful with everything.

Peppers is only about a 10min walk into town so very well situated making it very easy getting around.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to Queestown!!

Room Tip: Definitely book a Lake view Room, they are sensational with the most amazing views.

We stayed at this Peppers resort and had a wonderful time. The view was great to the lake, the room was big and very modern and comfortable. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The location was close to down town so could walk to everything. We had a great time.

Room Tip: Ask for a lake view.

I loved our time at Peppers. Waking up the the spectacular view over the mountains. Our apartment was simply beautiful, clean, modern, luxurious. It made us feel very special staying there. It is not in the heart of Queenstown or anything much in walking distance however we were only too happy to drive as we had a load of ski gear anyway. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: As high as possible and make sure it is facing the water on the front of the building.
