“Spacious apartment with magic views”
Reviewed 5 October 2011

Our family stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment which had beautiful views from the bedrooms and the living area. The apartment was immaculate with all the amenities of a home away from home. The village was convenient to the township and to the amenities at Frankton, whilst out of the hustle and bustle. The walking path into Queenstown is a must for those who want to take in the views and the ambience of the place. Pete and Michelle were great in responding to our needs and queries, although our requirements were more than satisfied at the apartment without having to refer to them to often. All in all a great apartment, a great place and a great holiday

I stayed in the 1 bedroom studio on the lakefront, it was awesome waking up literally meters from the water and the fantastic views, being well down off the road on the water it was very quiet. The studio had a marble bathroom, its own couch, sky tv and a 42 inch plasma and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. It was easy catching the bus to the remarkables for 5.00 return right at the entrance, there are buses running into town every 15 or so minutes. The easy 40 minute lakefront walk into Queenstown is stunning. I had a great time in Queenstown and I will be definitely rebooking the same lakefront studio next year.

Room Tip: book the waterfront studio, extremely quiet and comfortable with a luxury feel.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and were very satisfied with what we got. The views were awesome and the apartment was very clean. We had no problem finding the rubbish bin and also found the compendium helpful with informing us about Alpine Village. Pete and Michelle were quick at replying to our emails and seemed more than willing to make sure that we were happy and comfortable with the apartment. The rooms were great and it was lovely to open up the curtains in the morning and enjoy the perfect scenery. We would highly recommend Alpine Village to friends who are wanting to stay in Queenstown and we also will be staying here next time we come over here! Thanks Pete and Michelle! :)

All we can say is "WOW".. Great views, great friendly service, and a great price.. we couldn’t have been happier, Pete & Michelle are excellent hosts and very helpful, we look forward to returning again :-) I’m a little perplexed with the negative comment left by ..nickmBedford.. as we also stayed in U24 and found it superb. The views are fabulous, the apartment is very clean & tidy, the TV is simple to operate, and the rubbish bin position is clearly marked in the unit folder for those people sufficiently educated to be able to read, plus Pete did not charge us a dollar over the advertised rate. Thanks Pete & Michelle, look forward to seeing you again soon :-)

Halfway between Queenstown and Frankton the large two bedroom apartment we stayed in had amazing views. 40 minute scenic walk to Queenstown or Frankton. Bus at the top of the drive. A little out of town but worth having the peace and quiet. Very clean and tidy.
I am a 75 year old and found it a real bonus to hop out of the car and walk right in the door.
Be sure to visit Dorothy Browns movie theatre in Arrowtown.
Great place to holiday and will be staying at Alpine village next year when I come back to Queenstown.

Room Tip: We stayed in the middle block unit 24.
