Description: Madam Woo serves up authentic Malaysian Hawker food in a fast, fresh and fun setting. The menu is designed to be shared and draws from many of the chef's authentic family recipes to create big, vibrant flavours. The signature dishes embody the Woo ethos of big flavours and include Beef Rendang with Nasi Lemak, and the famous Madam Woo Hawker rolls, which have generated a cult-like following. The 'Woo Crew' are energetic, knowledgeable and friendly, happy to offer suggestions from the menu and guide guests through their ordering choices. The food may emulate Malaysian street food, but the service remains sharp, attentive and professional. Whether you are popping into Madam Woo for an Asian inspired cocktail and dumplings at the bar or for dinner with friends, you are sure to experience a genuinely unique dining experience.

The roti doughnut with ginger ice cream was amazing. Everything we had there was delicious, lite, and refreshing. I would definitely go back.

Just popped into Queenstown and since Freburger was still having long queue decided to drop by Malaysian style hawker restaurant & bar. Also packed and with a big group of 10 had no choice but to sit outside. Service was quick and attentive as the cold wind was severe and the host pops up with a basket of blankets which was gladly taken up.
Food wise certain dishes were good and holds close to Malaysian authentic flavours.
Portion was sizeable.
Good Char Kway Teow & Hainanese Chicken Rice, with decent Nasi Lemak. Satisfying dinner after eating NZ food (whitebait patties & fish and chips)

Again a very busy night. Long queue despite booking. Super fast service. Shiitake mushrooms spring rolls- nice, lovely heat in the dipping sauce. Two hawker rolls- eggplant and pork. A disappointing Madam Woo salad- lettuce with peanuts and 3 bits of lychee. Dressing made up for this desultory dish.

Had a selection of the mains with 2 friends. Portion sizes were spot on, flavours were delicious, highlights were the wontons and pork belly dishes. Thoroughly recommend.

Went here when it first opened. Place was buzzing and food was great. This time everything was good but the place seemed flat, a bit like the hype was over and they were there cos they had to be.
