The room was comfortable, spacious, and had a fantastic view over the lake and mountains. Staff were helpful. I pointed out a problem with the car park exit - hard to avoid crunching your bumpber on the road - but judging by the dozens of scrapes on the road surface, it has gone unattended for a long time. However, the carparking was good - under cover close to rooms.
The whole place seems to be becoming shabby with age - worn carpets, blackened sealant in the shower, heater that rattled, TV with a poor picture, and a general lack of vitality that you would expect in a 4 star hotel at the height of the tourist season.More
