“Excellent experience all round”

The apartment was perfectly clean and spacious and fully equipped with everything needed for our stay (pots and pans, washer and dryer, hair dryers in each bathroom). The bathroom floors are heated, which came in very useful at the start of winter, and there is a heating/cooling system which we found kept the whole apartment sufficiently warm. The view was spectacular from the living area (especially when it started snowing), overlooking the lake and mountains. The 1GB/day free wifi worked perfectly; it was of an adequate speed for us to stream HD quality movies every night. It is a fair distance to the town centre uphill, this was not an issue for us as we rented a car and in fact added to the tranquility of the area. It was a shame to move on at the end of our four night stay.

Be aware that there is no reception - a code will be emailed to you to open a locked box (instructions of location are in the email). This box will have your key cards and room number. Phone calls and questions were always promptly answered by Andrew, thanks for a great stay!

“Great little apartment”
Reviewed 9 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The apartment was updated well furnished. Towels, hairdryer, hot tub, etc were all provided. The apartment needed a bit of a refreshing before we arrived. The countertops were very dusty and there was a small plant growing out of the over flow drain in the kitchen sink. This wasn't a huge deal but, could be improved. The apartment would be a quick walk to the main area of town but, it is straight up a very steep hill. After 2 weeks in NZ, I didn't think hills were a big deal. This one was a killer, and I love to hike and be physically active. Be aware before renting it is a crazy walk home!

“Wow - love Queenstown and our Apartment”
Reviewed 6 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

What a beautiful two bedroom two bathroom apartment we had for two nights, it was extremely comfortable and well equipped, with car parking and free wifi. We just loved the indoor outdoor living with the sliding door onto the large deck and the views were sensational. Our unit was Number 16.

For those who like to be greeted by a concierge upon arrival, this is definitely not your style. I enjoyed not having to go through such formalities, meant getting to the room a lot faster.

The room has all the basic amenities one needs. The kitchen is fairly large boasting a gas stove top, oven, range hood and dishwasher. It has tea and coffee making facilities as well as a decent sized fridge. Both bedrooms are well sized and both feature a wardrobe and room access to the bathrooms. The sitting room is well sized with a dining table and couch, as well as tv with Skybox. The apartment does have an ac and gas fire heater however be did find that the gas fire does very little to heat the room and using the fan boost is just too loud. The apartment does have facilities for washing and drying.

Cleaning occurs every 3 days within your stay as well as on the your departure date, however during our stay they failed to come for 2 days after the expected date for reasons unknown to us, however all it took was a call to the office and it was dealt with swiftly and professionally.

Those who have not rented a car, the apartments are a fair walk, the coming back being the hardest, however if you are on holiday and aren't in a rush to be anywhere, the walk is pleasant and scenic.

“Unit 11, 16 Kent Street”

Really nice large apartment with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms also nice balcony.
10 minute walk down to centre of town but a very step walk back up. Taxi back up from centre costs $8 and worth the money unless you are on a get fit mission.
