However, it is a shame that you have given us a 'poor' 2 star review over what are arguably fairly minor complaints. Much of your review consists in conveying consternation over coleslaw and an unavailable room- type.
Regarding your late request for a room with a bath when your friend had flown in to see you and there being no available Executive Studios (containing a large egg-shaped bath) at that time – if a desired room-type is already booked out when your plans change latterly, then our hands are somewhat tied in the sense that other guests have already booked these rooms prior to your particular request. They therefore have their own expectations and we have commensurate obligations to them which we must honour. Had there been available rooms featuring a bath, we would have certainly accommodated your request.
With regard to a staff member's advice on our occupancy when delivering your room service, to say a specific room-type is fully booked, and to say that the hotel is not fully booked in aggregate are not conflicting statements. This would account for your confusion and additional consternation.
A limited number of our rooms do indeed face inward, and the adjacent wing is visible from this perspective, although it is a considerable distance from wing-to-wing. Yours is a novel comment, and most room types do not have this characteristic.
