It was the night before embarking on another Challenge and I was given a lovely welcome by Ann. She gave me a potted history of the house and pointed out some lovely original family pictures.
Mine was a corner room on the first floor. The bedroom was very spacious and charmingly decorated. My only issue was with the bed which was too soft for me.
The bathroom is an extravaganza of stone tiles with a huge walk-in shower and large corner bathtub. The toilet was separate, which is nice when sharing. The toiletries were definite keepers.
Hidden inside a closet is a fridge (with milk), a kettle and (plunger & instant) coffee & tea along with Ann's homemade Anzac biscuits. There are robes and an iron & board as well. The room also has a split waste/recycling bin which is a good addition.
All in all a very welcoming room. Wifi and parking are included.
Breakfast was superb with an omelette fit to feed an army.
I highly recommend this establishment.More
