Thank you very much for writing such a nice review, I hope that you are enjoying running around your hills in Colorado, I think you did quite a bit more running here than just in the Park. It is great to see people enjoying being here.

Pam is a very kind and warmhearted lady. The house is very nice and calm with beautiful flowers in the garden. I really enjoyed my stay there. And l had the best breakfast in hotels ever. I felt like being at home. :-)

I had a wonderful stay with Pam at Fendalton House. She made me feel very welcome and the room was warm, comfortable and full of thoughtful touches to make the stay something special. The breakfasts were delicious and made with produce from her own garden. Thanks for a lovely break!

Staying with Pam is like being welcomed home by your favourite aunt! She is very welcoming but not at all intrusive.
Our room was lovely, spacious and well appointed. The chance to have a tipple of port or sherry in the evening was a nice touch. The en suite facilities are excellent.
Pam's garden is delightful - colourful and cottage style. We were envious of the wisteria :)
Breakfast is lovely. Prepared and served by Pam who enjoys sitting down and chatting once she's finished cooking :) We enjoyed the poached plums especially!
Comfortable and very convenient. Thanks Pam!

Room Tip: only one room

Thank you very much for your comments, I think you are pretty keen gardeners yourselves, my wisteria is always a work in progress. I hope that your whole trip was wonderful.

Decided to ditch the hotels and look for a more interesting place to stay for a 1 week business trip to Christchurch. Had a wonderful time, Pam was a great hostess and provided the most amazing breakfasts each morning. Pam would ask what I would like for breakfast the evening before and each breakfast was great. . The house is off the main road and very quiet with a nice small yard and area to read outdoors. Fendalton House is about 3 blocks from the Riccarton Bush which is a nice open area for a walk. It is also close enough for a long walk to the Botanical gardens,(approximately 20-30 minute walk each way). Great place to stay and I will return on the next trip.

Room Tip: One room B&B only so you are the only ones there. In a residential neighborhood. Very comfortable bed.
