We love the food here and are regulars. The food looks good, really good and tastes divine. Classic cafe approach - queue to place your order and then take your seat. And Wait, Today being a long weekend (ahead of Waitaingi day on Tuesday), the cafe sadly only had two waitresses and being a deservedly popular cafe, it was busy. But a 25 minute wait for our hot drinks, which then arrived after a follow up with my hot chocolate in a chipped cup and almost cold with no teaspoon to eat the yummy chocolate bits at the bottom. This is an up market place with top end prices and lovely staff. But the challenge to being great is that every customer experience is a good one: chipped cups and coldish hot chocolate and long waits. Having said that, the chocolate macaroons had a hint of aniseed and were heavenly.
