We walked by and decided to pop in to take a look. There was a staff member at a desk near the entrance who gave us some brochure and welcomed us to take a look around, even though we weren't worshippers. We walked around and admired the stained glass and what was written on the walls.
It's nice to pop by for a visit if you are passing by, but not necessary to make a special trip there.
