Locate one of the history boards and read up on the background. It's a beating heart of an important suburb of old Wellington.

Nice little area for a mid morning stroll. Plenty of options for breakfast or brunch stops. Good range of vintage clothing stores.

Old architecture and all sorts of this and that to browse through. Various coffee places up and down the street; noodle bars and cafes; shops and bars; and earthquake warning stickers for added excitement

Cuba Street is filled with lots of small stores all with their own flair, its an interesting place to while away a Saturday afternoon, buskers and entertainers.

As a traveller to Wellington and you are staying in the downtown area, you soon realise and appreciate how close you are to everything relating to shopping or travel attractions. Cuba street is a mixture of good quality retail shops, small intimate eating housesand coffee outlets and fine up-market restaurants like Logan- Brown.A cosmopolitan area.
