Bolton Hotel was located right next to the Beehive. It was walking distance to the shops and the waterfront. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and had good views. You do pay for parking but it was easy and quick to have the valet bring your car around. Breakfast was good and had a bit of variety. Good wifi.

We stayed here as part of a Kirra Tour and were booked into a Classic Suite. The room was very spacious, however, the bed mattress was too firm to sleep on, but that is a personal preference. The kitchenette has a good size fridge, microwave, cooktop and oven and the lounge/dining area is a good size. The hotel is in a nice, quiet location situated not far from the Botanic Gardens and is about a ten minute walk to the Harbour. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights in Wellington, Bolton is in good location with friendly staff, the valet parking is 30 dollars per day which didn’t seem too bad.
Rooms are huge and self contained complete with washing facilities.
The noises arise when strong winds are forecast and the whole hotel creaks, however am assuming this isn’t on too regular a basis.
Rooms spotlessly clean too.
