Built in an old rustic style we found The Keep quite nice to stay in. Great location with views back across the harbour, but parking was awful and the road is so busy and noisy until late.
The accomodation had everything you could want. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. The spa bath was a nice touch and very romantic.
It has basic supplies and Bruce provides breakfast. This confused me as the website quotes different prices for stays with or without breakfast. I paid for without but when we got there, there was a huge selection of things. I didnt like to take advantage of it when I hadnt paid, so I didnt but I was confused by it.
I was just a little disappointed in that it was quite expensive so I expected either something historic and different (which it isnt), or more luxurious, which it wasn't. However it was unusual and pleasant enough so we enjoyed it but not sure I would rave about it, or want to repeat the stay.
