We intended to drive straight to the Huka Falls but the Sat Nav took us to a car park for the start of the tracks and by the time we realised it was too late (Sat Nav users watch our for this possibility). We had a wheelchair and the track wasn’t suitable for this, but after a struggle over a few hours we got there. While very difficult for us to negotiate with the wheelchair (for those able to walk OK it would be quite an easy walk), it was nevertheless a nice picturesque walk with the spectacular falls at the top (where this a nearby car park!). Excellent and recommended for those who can walk. No special navigation skills required as the river is adjacent/close by throughout and the track is obvious.
