Auckland needs to get it's entertainmet, hospitality act together
Big portions and tasty food. My chicken burger was perfectly spiced and so big that I took half of it away. Our child had the Nachos and the salsa was tasty. Milkshakes were great too. I have Coeliacs Disease and there were plenty of safe options. I can not understand the reviews on here that say it is pricey. We thought it was good value considering how expensive things are at the moment. The waitress was friendly and polite and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Was the perfect way to celebrate a slightly early fathers day. We will definitely be back.
First time we'd been in a couple of years.... what happened????? The food was substandard and expensive. Two of us bought the Southern chicken burger for $20... no fries, paid an extra $5 for those. All that was in our $20 burger was one soggy/crispy chicken fillet, a single slice of iceberg lettuce and sauce, squished between soggy buns?? The drinks were missing the creative pizazz you used to get, in fact, it was missing the old vibe all together. We won't be returning. For a Saturday lunch, the place only had two tables occupied and one waitress. This used be such a busy restaurant.
Oh gosh - brilliant!
We were served by Alana who was so good - so friendly and quick. Good customer service stands out and she definitely stood out.
The decor is so fun - very 60s American! And the food - YUM! We all opted for burgers and they did not disappoint. We tend to opt for burgers when they are on the menu and mine in particular was hands-down the best I've had - the Hawaii Five-O Burger.
The kids loved the thick shakes.
The restaurant itself was really clean. Overall a really good experience and next time we're in New Plymouth we would definitely go back.
